Kaiju No. 8, Vol. 7

Kafka aims to rid the world of kaiju, but a sudden transformation complicates his mission. Kaiju No. 9 emerges to steal the power of Kaiju No. 2, held by Isao Shinomiya, the director general of the Defence Force. After a fierce battle, Isao nearly defeats No. 9 but exhausts himself, allowing the kaiju to absorb No. 2's power. With Isao defeated, No. 9 merges with him and confronts Kafka, Kikoru, and Narumi. The team must find a way to defeat this formidable foe and rescue their leader.
