Alice Oseman is a young British author and illustrator known for her bestselling novels and webcomics. Born in 1994 in Kent, England, she grew up in a family of teachers and developed a passion for reading and writing early on. After studying English literature at Durham University, she launched her popular webcomic Heartstopper, which has been praised for its charming characters and positive LGBTQ+ representation. Alice has also written several acclaimed novels exploring themes of identity and friendship. In 2019, she was named one of Forbes' "30 Under 30" in Europe.
