Description from the Publisher:

A Girl Called Justice (Book 1)

When Justice's mother dies, her father sends her to Highbury House Boarding School for the Daughters of Gentlefolk. As a barrister specializing in murder trials, he is too busy to care for her alone. Having been home-schooled, the transition is shocking. Can it really be that blondes rule the corridors? Are all uniforms such a charming shade of brown? And do schools normally hide dangerous secrets about the murder of a chambermaid?

A Girl Called Justice: The Smugglers' Secret (Book 2)

Returning for the spring term at Highbury House, Justice is assigned to care for the elderly Mr. Arthur at Smugglers' Lodge. Initially dismayed, she becomes intrigued by his stories from the First World War, especially when she hears that the lodge is haunted. But when Mr. Arthur dies mysteriously, Justice has a list of questions: why hasn't he had a proper military funeral? Why does the new Matron seem clueless about First Aid? What secrets does Smugglers' Lodge hold?

A Girl Called Justice: The Ghost in the Garden (Book 3)

In their third year, Justice and her friends encounter a new girl, Letitia, who disregards the rules. After a midnight feast and a ghost sighting, a girl disappears, and ransom notes appear, torn from a crime novel.

A Girl Called Justice: The Spy At The Window (Book 4)

In 1939, with the outbreak of war, everything changes at Highbury House. The pupils must help with chores, and a boys' school is evacuated to share the building. Despite the chaos, Justice and her friends find mysteries to solve, including strange voices from an empty room and a face at a window two stories up. Justice faces her biggest challenge yet: could there be a spy among them?
