Elle is facing a crisis. Jobless and about to be homeless, she finds an advert seeking a writer to document the history of a house and its family, with one requirement: a love for Christmas. Despite her reluctance, Elle takes the opportunity and moves to Mistletoe Square. There, she meets an eccentric elderly woman and her unconventional housekeeper, who reveal stories tied to a magnificent Christmas tree and its antique decorations.
