Angel's Wish

In Suffolk, 1924, Angel becomes a nurse for the MacDonald family after the death of her fiancé in World War I. Living at the Angel Inn, she encounters new faces and old connections, particularly Edith, a fellow nurse who knows about Angel's past. As Angel develops feelings for her employer, Robert, Edith threatens to reveal a secret that could jeopardise her future.
