The Word for World is Forest

A peaceful alien species, the Athsheans, face conquest by violent humans known as yumens. Their lives are drastically changed as they are forced into servitude. In a desperate bid for survival, the Athsheans begin to fight back, breaking their cultural prohibitions against violence. This struggle for freedom threatens to undermine the very principles of their society. As conflict escalates, the consequences of their actions lead to irreversible changes, forcing them to confront the cost of their resistance.
