The Dance Tree

In Strasbourg during a scorching summer in 1518, a woman begins to dance uncontrollably in the city square, attracting others until hundreds join her. The authorities respond by declaring an emergency, fearing a dancing plague has taken hold. Meanwhile, pregnant Lisbet works with her bees while her sister-in-law Nethe returns after seven years of isolation for an undisclosed crime.
